What is hypnosis?

“I’d like to get away from earth a while
And then come back to it and begin over”

Robert Frost

Who wouldn’t?  With hypnosis you can.

Healing through trance or an altered state of awareness is among the oldest phenomena known to man and is found, in one form or another, in virtually every culture throughout the world.

It is a means of experiencing and exploiting your true potential.  All hypnosis is self- hypnosis and all healing is self-healing but sometimes you need a little guidance.  If the guide is a trained professional, who uses the trance state to encourage beneficial change, the process is referred to as “Hypnotherapy”.

Through skilful use of storytelling and metaphor Hypnotherapy harnesses the power of your imagination in the healing process.

Hypnotherapy is generally considered to be a fairly short-term approach; changes for the better should become apparent within relatively few sessions.
